Vintage/Antique Art Deco Asian/Chinese Hand Carved Amethyst Oval Pendant with Cape Amethyst Gemstone Necklace featuring 2 strands round lavender purple Cape Amethyst beads attached to a beautifully carved oval Amethyst Pendant set in a 925 Sterling Silver bezel with a box clasp. This uniquely carved Amethyst with a floral motif / bird I really can't make it out. It is a lovely purple color. It has 2 beads that are 1/2" round carved with the "good luck" symbol and knotted on string. The Cape Amethyst beads measure about 1/4" inch and knotted string. Hallmarked SILVER on the back of box clasp that opens and closes tightly. It has a length of 20 inches and weighs 94.2 grams. The oval pendant measures about 2" inches x 1 3/8" inches. In very good vintage condition. It does have some small imperfections that would happen with age and time can only be seen closeup. These Chinese Art Deco carved pendant necklaces are no longer being made so once they are gone they gone forever. It is just beautiful so hard to find.
